When I Grow Up …

When I grow up, I want to be just like my amazing Mentor Jacque Williams ...

Jacque Williams

Jacque comes from Auckland once a month to teach classes, which we hold at my home.
Jacque classes are every third Tuesday, 1pm>3pm and again 7pm>9pm.
We make different projects in each class, and four times a years Jacque holds a Scrap-Booking Day here in Nelson.
Bookings are essential, so if interested in attending, please contact Jacque direct on mail@stamphappy.co.nz and Jacque's Blog "StampHappy" can be found here.

These are the projects that we made last week ...

Jacque's Day Class, we made these cute Easter Treat Boxes

Jacque's Day Class, we made this Watercolour Washi Tape Card

Jacque's Evening Class, gorgeous card featuring the "Wetlands" stamp set

Jacque's Evening Class, we made the xtra cute covered Journal, featuring the "Fresh Prints" designer Series paper Stack

I couldn't help but take this photo of Jacque’s Apron, displaying all her hard earned pins …

Jacque has been awarded the New Zealand Demonstrator of the Year And Achiever's Award 2008-2013, and in a couple of weeks is going on an all expenses paid Caribbean Cruise vacation courtesy of Stampin’ Up!

Just sayin’ …

AND btw ‘cause it’s Easter, I just had to make an Easter themed Yonanas Dessert …

Card Off: Friday Night With Jen

Friday night, my best friend Jen and I had a "Card Off” ...
With Father’s Day on Sunday, we decided that would be our first card …

Challenge 1: Father’s Day and “Hexagons”

I have to say both cards turned out really well, and although we had the same theme, our cards turned out totally different!

 Challenge 2: Shabby Chic

Jen made a gorgeous vintage floral card whilst I went shabby chic with my favourites the “Dress Up” Framelits ...

Storage Ideas With Kathe: Recycling 101: {AVON} Shampoo/Conditioner Bottles

Ever wondered what to do with that empty {AVON} Shampoo or Conditioner bottle?
Well wonder no more!
I created these cute Hold Alls, could also be used for storing MakeUp Brushes, or for storing your Stampin’ Up! supplies …

Instructions:
Empty bottle.
Cut bottle open, you will initially need to use a sharp knife like a steak knife, and then finish off with strong scissors.
Cut the opening so that it is the same height from the base of the bottle, cut all the way round.
Make sure you thoroughly wash and dry the empty bottle.
Peel the sticker off of the front of the bottle, you may like to use some “De-Solv-It” to get rid of the sticky residue.
Finish with Washi Tape.
I have used an arrow Washi Tape to fold over the top part of the empty bottle to avoid any sharp edges.

Wah Lah … you know have your very own tres’ chic storage container!
