Altered Butterfly Frame

My Mom and her twin sister celebrated their birthday on Friday.

What with so much gorgeous Stampin’ Up! product in my stash, I just had to make a handmade gift ..

Each lucky lady received a gorgeous altered Butterfly framed piece of my artwork, along with a card, featuring the “Butterfly Basics” and "Painted Petals" stamp sets and matching “Butterflies’ framelits.

This week, I piggy-backed my first project in with the Creative Inkers Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop.

This week we made two cards, the first card is a Chalkboard Easel Card, and features the Sale-A-Bration rewards of “Best Year Ever” Designer Series Paper, and stamp sets “Big Day” and “Simply Wonderful”.

The second card I took inspiration from a Pin on Pinterest by Christyann Rothmel, but added my own twist!

My version featured the stamp sets “Groovy Love” and “Yippee-Skippee” + the “Ampersand” Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
