Thursday’s
“Create With Kathe” Craft Class, we had a newbie attend the evening class,
Sharon {and my bestie Jen}, and at the day class we had Bev, Kay, Lizzy,
and Marion attend.
Lizzy
made some yummy chocolate muffins, which went down a treat, along with the Sour
Worms {btw these are lollies!!!}!
The
first card we made is a c.a.s.e. by my very good friend Sally, Sally had a guest
post here on my Blog, when she first made this gorgeous card.

Sally
made this gorgeous card for a Swap, and features the “Springtime Hello” stamp set
and the Painters Tape technique.

Our
next project was a warm up to the finale …we made two cute 3”x3” cards {in
Coastal Cabana and Strawberry Slush}, and features the “Zoo Babies” stamp set and the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, along with the retiring Ruffle
Stretch Trim {which is my fav}.
Our finale was this
Shaker Card, featuring the “By The Tide” and “By The Seashore” stamp sets.
The Sailors Knot
was a bit of a challenge, but I found an easy step by step tutorial here
For the Shaker, I used a card
cellophane bag and filled it with Chunky Glitter and the sequins from the Gold
Sequin Trim.
I love the way the fish looks like
it is swimming through the coral and the glitter.
