Christmas Angel Dress Up Framelit Lip Balm Holder

A gorgeous Dress Up Framelit Lip Balm Holder with a twist!
Jen suggested adding some Angel wings and wah-lah we now have a Christmas Angel!
The wings are made of Vellum, that has been embossed in “Iridescent Ice”, and then I used the “Beautiful Butterflies Bigz” Die to cut the wings.
I added a t ouch of Dazzling Diamonds to the edges of the wings to give it that xtra sp*rkle.
They are then layered with cardstock underneath, and then cut in half and slipt apart by 1cm, as they needed to be a tad wider.
Packaged between the 2 Dress Up Framelits is a cardboard gift box containing an (Avon) Lip Balm.
The Dresses are then cinched in the middle by 3 strands of Organdy Ribbon, with a cute little bow.

Floral Sympathy Card W/ DIY Washi Tape

A friends husband recently passed away, and I wanted to make M an xtra special Sympathy Card, made from the heart.

I chose the word “Celebrate” and wrote with it …
“Celebrate the life you have shared with J, and look back on those memories with fondness.”

As often when someone passes, everyone is thinking about their passing, and not on what they have contributed to in this world.

I made some Washi Tape by stamping with “Coastal Cabana” on the “Very Vintage” Wheel Stamp, and rolling it onto white tissue paper, and then adhering double sided tape to the reverse of the tissue paper.
This Washi Tape can also be torn (rather than cut), and looks like the real McCoy!
This is an awesome way to make your Washi Tape match back with your project perfectly, as you are using the ink pad that you may also be using throughout your craft project.

Happy Birthday Sweet Natalia

I made this birthday card for my two year old niece Natalia.
She is a very special little lady, being the youngest of 3 kiddies and the only girl in the family – she is like a kindred spirit, as I have 3 brothers!
I used the Rock “n” Roll technique on the flower form the Mixed Bunch stamp set.
I stamped and punched 3 flowers from the Mixed Bunch stamp set (Blossom punch), 1 from the Flower Shop stamp set (Pansy punch), and punched 1 from the Boho Blossoms punch.   Then Braded all of the flowers together.
For xtra dimension, I added Dazzling Diamonds to the petals.
I also stamped with the Rock “n” Roll technique on the inside of the card with the Mixed Bunch stamp.
Note the sweet little jacket on the Dress – this is made by using the Dress Up Framelit with the caped sleeves, and then cutting the cardstock through the waistline (just below the bust-line) and down the middle to create the xtra cute little jacket.   I used the off cuts to create the little belt and cute little flower on the belt.
Inside the card, I used the Lattice Die and the Beautiful Wings Embosslits to make the butterflies bounce/fly off the page.

Stamp Sets: “Mixed Bunch”, “Flower Shop” and “Happiest Birthday Wishes” (Hostess Set R)
Punches: “Blossom”, “Pansy”. “Boho Blossoms” and “Decorative Label”
Framelits/Dies: “Lattice”, “Dress Up”, “Beautiful Wings Embosslits”
Ink Pads/Inks: “Baja Breeze” “Costal Cabana”, “Not Quite Navy”

Special Tools: Big Shot, Dazzling Diamonds, Dimensionals, Stick On Notes, Sponges (for sponging!), 2-Way Glue Pen
