This
is my own recipe, which I have used for many a special occasion, for MANY
years.
I
have finally put pen to paper and revealed my top secret recipe …
“Vanilla
Cinnamon Dream”
300mL Cream, Whipped
2
Tablespoons Icing Sugar
1 Teaspoon
Vanilla Essence
1 Litre
Vanilla Yoghurt
Cinnamon
to taste {I use heaps!!!}
1
Tin {435g} Pineapple Chunks, juice drained off
1
Packet Marshmallows
“Jaffas”
{for those of you not in New Zealand, these are round balls of chocolate with an
orange candy coating!}
Whip
the Cream with the Icing Sugar and Vanilla Essence.
Fold
above into the Yoghurt, and then add heaps of ground Cinnamon.
Add
the Pineapple Chunks {which have been drained well!}, and Marshmallows.
Drop
the Jaffas on to the top of the dessert, cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
AFTER 2 hours, use
a large spoon to fold the dessert, the coating will come off of the Jaffas and
create a marble-like effect.
This
is a favourite at many of our family gatherings, and my 3 brothers and son love
to destroy it in a single sitting!
The
Marshmallows dissolve slightly and taste like clouds, hence why I have called the
gorgeous dessert “Vanilla Cinnamon Dream”.
