Thank You Card By Reilly {and Moi!} ...

We have some lovely neighbours, that had a surplus-to-requirements bike, and they kindly thought of our son Reilly.
Reilly is now whizzing around the neighbourhood on his new bike, and is even leaving for school on time!
This is a wee “Thank-You” card that Reilly and I made.
For this first time he used my Big Shot “Betsy The Beast”, I also have an second Big Shot that we use in Class, called “JorjaRose”!
What with a Bicycle being involved in this very generous gift, I chose to centre the card around a Penny Farthing, with a vintage shabby chic theme.
I tried a new idea out on this card, I placed the Antique Brad through the Very Vintage Designer Button, and I love how it turned how out.

Happy craftin',

Blendabilities Card ...

A very special friend and craft-lover, had a birthday recently, and this is the card I made for her …

You can never have too many layers when it comes to flowers …

I placed the Heart from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack over the image of New Zealand, as this is where we live …

This little lady is coloured using the Blendabilities Markers …

It was the prime opportunity to break out the New Stampin’ Up! alcohol based Blendabilities Markers.

Along with colouring stamped images, you can also colour non-porous objects, such as Rhinestones, Pearls and baked Embossed Powder, so Stampin’ Up! makes it even easier to match your colours on your projects!
The Blendabilities come in packs of 3, for example each pack has a light, medium and dark hue of the one colour e.g. Coastal Cabana.   I have also used Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry, and Skin Tone Assortment pens for this project.
The Skin Tone Assortment are a tad more expensive, as you receive 6 pens instead of just the 3 markers in the regular packs.
The colours are Bronze, Mocha, Blush, Natural, Nude and Ivory.

The Circle Card Thinlits are one of my favourite Stampin' Up! products, you receive 10 Dies in the pack, and it makes making a flip/swing card a breeze!

I have been searching through my past projects, and just came across this card, which I taught at out local "Women Connecting" Church Craft Group.
It was a challenging card to teach, as I had 35 ladies in the room!

For the Noah’s Ark, I used the My Digital Studio image “Two By Two” + the "Chalk Talk", "Gorgeous Grunge" and “Zoo Babies” stamp sets …

So This Is Why Exercise Is Bad For You …

My Mom and I recently decided to take up walking twice a week, for our own health.
Our first day was last Tuesday, as soon as I put my Asics running shoes on, I could feel them rubbing.
We walked to the Mall {ran some errands} and back, and I knew before taking off my shoes, I would have a couple of juicy blisters.
Our next walk was on Friday, and as my feet were still sore, I wore Ballet Flats.
We walked to the Mall again to run errands, then added an xtra bit to our walk {of course we had to stop at the Dairy on the way back for a Magnum!}.

By the time I got home, my feet were now weeping!
Yesterday {Sunday} I had a good friend who is also a nurse bandage my foot, and just now taking the bandage off, this is how bad it Is now looking  …

I tell ya… so this is why exercise is bad for you!
