#scentsy #ScentsyBlend
Today I'm warming in my “Vintage Teapot” Warmer, my daughters favourite blend, "Salted Caramel Cupcake" with "Vanilla Bean Buttercream".

What with "Salted Caramel Cupcake" being on the retired list, effective 29.02.2016, I just had to stock up!
Hmmmmmmm ... bliss!

"Card Off Challenge": With Jen On Thursday 18.02.2016

So excited that Jen and I had time for anther “Card Off Challenge”.
The card I had created was featured in my “Create With Kathe” Class week.
So as I taught my Class, Jen tweaked the card, but still used the same base of Stampin’ Up! products.
I always love to see the outcome of Jen’s tweaking, as she is a master of colour!
As you can see from the two cards, the original was Portrait, and Jen’s switched hers up to Landscape
The stamp sets featured are “Birthday Blooms” and “Timeless Elegance”, these two are my absolute favourites from the new Occasions Catalogue.
The pretty flower on the original card was is soft tones of Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Mint Macaroon and Pear Pizzazz.
Jen’s flower was in deepening colours, perhaps with a touch of Rich Razzleberry, and she coloured the background of the flower, by adding a wash of Tempting Turquoise.
Both cards have faux stitching, created using the “Updated Essentials” Paper Piercing Pack, and the Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker.
If you look super close at the “Sahara Sand” layer, you will also find heaps of stamping using the “Timeless Textures” stamp set and Soft Suede and Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pads.
Jen’s card was framed in Blackberry Bliss and a cute sparkly embellishment added to the top right-hand corner, and some gorgeous pleated ruffled ribbon {Venetian Crochet Trim and Seam Binding}.
I always love a touch of shabby chic, so in my card I added a Doily, fabric rose, ruffled ribbon {Venetian Crochet Trim and Seam Binding}, and a beautiful Brad, from the “Antique Brads” collection.
At the end of the day {or night as it had become}, it was a draw!!!

Crafty News ...

Hi There My Crafty Friends,

Can't wait till tomorrow, Jen, Brydee and I are flying off to Auckland for the "Scentsy World Tour Conference".
As Jen's official Office Manager for her Scentsy Team, the "Top Of The South Scentsy Stars", I am very privileged to go, and be part of the Team.
We fly out Thursday morning, shop hard, have the conference on Friday at the "Auckland Hilton" ... yes the Auckland Hilton, wonder if Paris Hilton will be there!!! More shopping on Saturday, before we head home late Saturday arvo.
Just in time to do the the laundry, and kids lunches, for school Monday!
To say I'm excited is an understatement!!!
Will report more when I get home.

On the home front, most embarrassing moment of the week was this evening, when I had to purchase some Feminine Hygiene products {Teena} at Pak 'N Save.
There were none on the shelf, so I finally found a female Pak 'N Save worker, and asked her for some help, so she went and got this nice burly looking 25 year old MAN to help me!!!
He couldn't find any, but suggested I come back in the morning, as new stock may arrive.
Talk about embarrassing, I even thanked him, and then apologized to the MAN ... blushed face much?!!!

So I always abide by the rule NOT to turn the Dishwasher on and go to sleep ...

#lucky
So I always abide by the rule NOT to turn the Dishwasher on and go to sleep ... but this just happened {anyway!!!} ...
This morning, the house smelt funny and the plates, glasses etc were still super hot {in the Dishwasher}!!!
The kids didn't do chores before school this morning, so I had to wait till 3pm for them to do it.
During the day, every time I tried to get a clean glass from the Dishwasher, the glasses were super hot.
Luckily I had left the Dishwasher door open all day, as the basket had melted into the element, and the element was still on!!!
Only realized about the element = heat when Reilly was able to yank the cutlery container from the element!!!
The element was bright red with heat, and had been on for approx. 15 hours!!!
Had to then find under the sink, where to turn the Dishwasher off at the wall!!
Dramas, but we are all fine, and Dusty didn't even realize!!!
Makes me think back to when the Toaster caught on fire!!!
